Kate could barely contain her excitement upon finding the walker/scooter that Santa brought for her. She was truly amazed that he was able to get just what she had asked for and managed to find her at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

We were able to spend Thanksgiving with Eric's brothers' families. Kate loved hanging out with her big cousins. This is Mary Kate, Kate & Mary Grace. We should name our next girl Grace to be consistent.

Well - it's official. Kate is now crawling. And it didn't take her long to start pulling herself up and walking from table to couch and back. Carl better watch out!

Anya and Lucas!!

My cousin Anya and her fantastic 1 year old son, Lucas, were in Denver on Friday for a visit. We took the munchkins to the Children's Museum that shockingly was well suited for the little, little ones. Kate was mesmerized by Lucas and his amazing crawling abilities.

Happy Birthday Auntie Suz!

Kate & I went to Austin to celebrate my Auntie Suz's 60th. My cousins Sid and Sloan did a great job of planning a suprise party for her on Sunday but it was a weekend of surprises because my Uncle Jim flew in on Friday and suprised both of his sisters. The only non-surprise is that even though my aunt is just entering mid life and I'm in my mid 30s, I still call her 'auntie.' I suppose it's only fitting because Kate will undoubtedly call her Auntie Suz too. Maybe she can call Sloan and Sid 'couzie.'

Lamarpalooza!!

We spent a week in Nags Head, NC with Eric's brothers and sisters and their families. Kate really enjoyed meeting all of her cousins and the aunts and uncles she hadn't met yet. She got some of the best sleep she has ever had. AND - she was a rockstar on all 4 plane flights!

Fourth of July!!

We spent the days surrounding the 4th in Breckenridge with our friends the Browns and Rogers. We were able to get some time on the bike for the first time in almost a year.
